Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how JobSearch International Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit infomated.com (the "site"). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles and, where they apply to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and US state privacy laws.
Who we are
The site is operated by JobSearch International Pty Ltd. Our address is C/O Suite 10/1 Sigma Drive Croydon South VIC 3136 Australia. For anything about this policy or your information, email info@jobsearchinternational.com.au or use our Contact page.
Information you give us
If you contact us, we collect the details you choose to send (such as your name, email address and message), solely to respond to you.
The site has no accounts, registration or mailing list. We do not add you to any list, and we do not sell, rent or trade the details you send us.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our servers record standard log information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. We use it to run and secure the site, diagnose problems, detect abuse and invalid advertising traffic, and understand traffic in aggregate. We do not use it to identify you, and logs are kept only for a limited period before they are deleted or reduced to aggregate statistics.
Search
When you use the site's search, the words you type are sent to our search service to return results, and to our search and advertising partners (including Google) to return related results and ads. Please do not type personal information, such as your name, email address or phone number, into the search box.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files your browser stores for a website. This site uses:
- Preferences — if you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is stored in your browser so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
- Advertising — Google and its partners may set cookies to show, measure and limit ads, and to detect fraud (see Advertising below).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site's content remains available without them, though some features may not work as expected.
Advertising
The site shows ads from Google, including ads alongside search results and related searches. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on those visits. We do not control the cookies or the data these vendors collect.
You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising at any time:
- Google My Ad Center (personalised ads from Google)
- aboutads.info/choices (many vendors, in the US)
- youronlinechoices.eu (many vendors, in Europe)
See how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the site
- To respond to your enquiries
- To understand how the site is used, in aggregate, and improve it
- To show ads that fund the site, and to protect them from fraud and invalid clicks
- To meet our legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions
If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the site; on your request when we answer an enquiry; on legal obligation where the law requires it; and on your consent where the law requires consent, including for advertising cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who we share information with
- Service providers who host, run, monitor and secure the site for us (such as cloud hosting), only so they can provide those services
- Search and advertising partners, as described above
- Authorities or others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users or the public
- A buyer or successor if the site or our business is sold or restructured, under this policy
We do not sell your personal information for money. Under some US state laws, letting advertising partners use cookies for targeted advertising can count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information; you can opt out with the controls under Advertising above, or by contacting us.
Overseas transfers
Our service providers and partners such as Google may store or process information outside your country, including in Australia and the United States. Where the law requires it, we take reasonable steps — such as contractual safeguards — so your information stays protected to the standard of this policy.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiries only as long as we need to deal with them and any follow-up, and server logs only for a limited period, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and have it corrected
- ask us to delete it, or to restrict or object to how we use it
- receive a copy in a portable format
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising (some US states)
- withdraw consent you have given, at any time
To make a request, email info@jobsearchinternational.com.au or use our Contact page. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Complaints. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au), or, in the EEA or UK, to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is for a general audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
Articles may link to other websites, such as manufacturers, retailers and official sources. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
